Explain why you enjoyed the readings or the lecture content with specificity. The goal for Response/Reflection papers is to demonstrate reflective analysis of the course content; to take in knowledge and reflect upon it. The exercise of critical thinking skills is a necessary component of this assignment. This does not mean to only find flaws and judge harshly. Instead, critical thinking “… is that mode of thinking – about any subject, content, or problem – in which the thinker improves the quality of his or her thinking by skillfully taking charge of the structures inherent in thinking and imposing intellectual standards upon them” (Paul and Elder 2008:1).
